sankofa (2022)
i had the pleasure of filming the play 'sankofa' (nicole acquah) for the theatre company acquah & co, during their run at the bread and roses theatre. the film was then streamed live on demand.
the play is a is a semi-autobiographical show about acquah's experiences as a british-ghanaian woman trying to understand more about their heritage. it was shortlisted for the women's prize for playwrighting.
tubes and tribulations (2022)
i also filmed a work-in-progress run of 'tubes and tribulations', a new work by vivi bayliss. the film was used in successful funding applications, leading the play to have a run at the hope theatre.
